As an independent investigator, my research aims to develop translational strategies to combat major chronic diseases in humans. The primary objective is to balance tolerance and immunity to prevent inflammation. I explore the potentiality of gut microbiome and nutritional therapies as interventions. My research also delves into the dynamics of metabolism, brain function, placenta, T-cells paradigm, and mitophagy. I seek to understand how these factors interact to maintain maternal-child health and prevent disease. By integrating these diverse yet interconnected areas, my goal is to identify novel therapeutic approaches that can effectively mitigate chronic diseases and improve overall health outcomes.
